Texas state representative posts threatening tweet to Beto O’Rouke during Democratic presidential debate.

Briscoe Cain, a Republican state politician, has sparked outrage after post what appeared to be a threatening tweet toward Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke.

During Thursday night’s debate, O’Rouke had answered a question regarding gun control.

Watch:

Referring to O’Rouke’s given name Robert Francis, Cain responded with the following message.

O’Rouke was quick to call out the lawmaker, making his thoughts on the comment clear.

Twitter has since deleted Cain’s original post after mass reporting by its users.
