A blue tit's breath is captured as it sings its song in sub-zero temperatures in the city of Petrozavodsk, Russia. Mikhail Kalinin, 34, an electric locomotive engineer spotted the chirping bird's condensation rising up out from it's beak with the temperature below -5 degrees celsius.

Drones Assemble Into Snowboarder Then Transform Into The Olympic Rings.

1,218 Drones were used in a spectacular display at the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics.   From Geekwire: 'The synchronized flight of 1,218 Intel Shooting Star drones broke Intel’s previous record of 500 drones, flown simultaneously in Germany in 2016. The performance also surpassed the 300-drone salute that was pre-recorded with Lady Gaga for Super Bowl LI last year. For the Olympic show, Intel’s drones were programmed to paint the sky with colorful imagery, including the 3-D outline of a snowboarder that morphed into the Olympic rings.'

WATCH: Baby Octopus hatches

From The Associated Press: 'The clip shows a baby Caribbean reef octopus wriggling out of a flowerlike section of eggs. Almost immediately, the colorless creature’s cells fire pigment, giving it a brownish hue. It waves its tiny arms and shoots off into the water. The Virginia Aquarium spokesman Matthew Klepeisz says their researchers have theorized that the swift pigment flow is either due to the stress of being born or an instinct to camouflage fast.'
