Watch: Rugby star Israel Folau blames bushfires on same-sex marriage and abortion.

Australian Rugby player Israel Folau has drawn anger for linking Australia's bushfire crisis to same-sex marriage and abortion laws. In a video posted to Facebook, the former Wallabies player described the fires as a "little taste of God's judgement" during a sermon at a Sydney church on Sunday. Watch:   This isn't the first time Folau has made his homophobic views clear. Rugby Australia (RA) sacked the Wallabies player in May after he said on social media that "hell awaits" gay people.     Marriage equality in Australia has been legal since 9 December 2017.

The outgoing European Council President Donald Tusk has urged British voters not to "give up" on stopping Brexit. Speaking at the College of Europe, Tusk added "I did everything in my power to avoid the confrontational no-deal scenario and extend the time for reflection and a possible British change of heart." Watch:   Mr Tusk is due to stand down from his role on 1 December, when he will be replaced by former Belgian PM Charles Michel.

New government data reveals a record number of migrant children have been held in U.S. government custody over the past year.  69,550 children have been detained away from their parents, more than any other country, according to United Nations researchers. And it’s happening even though the U.S. government has acknowledged that being held in detention can be traumatic for children, putting them at risk of long-term emotional and physical damage. Nikki Haley claims Kelly and Tillerson tried to recruit her to undermine Trump and ‘save the country.’

Nikki Haley, the former US ambassador to the UN, has said two top White House aides encouraged her to undermine President Donald Trump. In a new book, With All Due Respect, Haley says then-Chief of Staff John Kelly and then-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told her to resist some of Trump's demands. Woman who flipped off Trump motorcade wins seat on Loudoun County Board of Supervisors in Virginia.

Juli Briskman, a marketing executive from Virginia, made national news in October 2017 when a photo of her flipping off President Trump's motorcade went viral. Democrat Andy Beshear declared victory in Kentucky's tight governor's election late Tuesday night. Rand Paul, alleged libertarian, slammed for demanding publication of whistleblower’s identity.

Sen. Rand Paul demanded the press print the name of the whistleblower at the center of the impeachment inquiry during a Trump rally Monday night in Kentucky. Joining the President on stage, the Kentucky Republican said “We also now know the name of the whistleblower.
